#12

12th post in one month!! Not too shabby if I say so myself! We've been pretty bored around the house lately since this preschool year is over for Quinn. We bought some art projects yesterday to keep us busy at least a few days a week. Our first was making this pirate ship, they loved it!

We Tried...

Last night we went to the beach after dinner. We had just eaten out on the patio and it felt pretty nice, not hot but nice enough that we thought it'd be fun to spend an hour or so at the beach. About 5 minutes after being there I was ready to go, it was freezing! It's been so windy these past few weeks and in the high 60's, low 70's which I'm definitely not complaining about. But hopefully it warm up a little bit soon so we can enjoy it at the beach without leaving 20 minutes into it!

Look who we brought home today!

We went to the fair this afternoon with some Marines from Brian's shop and the boys now have their first pet.
"Goalie" the goldfish!
Not sure why his name is Goalie. Brian says it's because Quinn is a serious World Cup fan!

And some of y'all have heard about Brian possibly leaving for Afghanistan before Adelyn is due. I'm happy to report that his unit is allowing him to leave with the group of Marines that are leaving a few weeks later and he should now definitely be here for the birth!! I'm so so excited that he won't be missing another birth. We should be just 9ish weeks away til little miss gets here (:

Heavenly cupcakes

We brought back some cupcakes from Heavenly cupcakes for the boys and Nanci after our trip down to San Diego.
The boys pretty much just ate the frosting, lol! Oh well, they were being cute and Brian got to eat more cupcake, which he was pretty happy about!

We're having an awesome time with Nanci in town and I just wanted to share one picture from our day at the fair before Brian and I go down to San Diego for our anniversary weekend. There will be plenty more pictures from the fair to come, but here's one for now....

Story time

Every night before bed the boys pick a few books out and we read together. I took this photo the other night while Brian was reading to the boys...

I absolutely love it!!

Brian leaves tomorrow for the field for some deployment training and while it's only til Friday, we're definitely going to miss him!

Two post in one day, watch out!!

The other day we had a couple friends over for hot dogs and swimming and while Quinn and Grayson were helping fill up the kiddie pool I asked Quinn if he was aiming the hose in the water...His response was just a thumbs up lol!

27 weeks

It's very strange being on the other side of the camera... having someone take photos of me! I don't really like getting my photo taken while pregnant and I actually have very few from my pregnancies with the boys. But seeing as Brian and I are both photographers, I figured it'd be alright to have a couple this go around to remember what I looked like years from now. And at least I'm early enough to not be a total blimp just yet lol!
