Painting

A few days ago we took the boys to the hobby shop on base which has a lot of different craft activities available for people to use. We went to paint plates! It was hard not to step in and make their plates "perfect" the way I thought they should be lol! Grayson started off with a cute little blue octopus on his plate that in the end was not even close to visible but all that matters is that they have fun! We don't get them back til tomorrow so I'll have to take pictures of the final project later but here's some of them creating their masterpieces (:

Dinosasur Museum

We also went to the dinosaur museum with Grandpa down in Balboa Park....

Mechanized Museum

We took Grandpa L to the Mechanized Museum on base the other day. The boys loved it!! I don't think it will ever get old seeing helicopters, humvees, MRAPs, 7 tons, amtracs and all the other crazy things we see on base everyday!

How many cups of sugar?!

Today Grayson and I made the oh so yummy Texas Sweet Bread, that is a staple dessert in the Drolet family. Brian's Dad is coming into town today and we figured a delicious dessert would be a good welcome. Here's Grayson showing me how many cups of sugar I need!

These days I'm barely able to play outside 5 minutes before I'm incredibly tired and need a break. The boys basically can't wait for Brian to come home everyday lol! Thankfully he plays outside with them all the time and thanks to the chalk Uncle Kyle sent us for Gray's birthday they had a race track and tennis net to play with!
