Christmas pictures

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. Other than our heat being out since Christmas Eve we had a great day! The boys have more new toys than they know what to do with and Addy just thinks they'll all hers!


These next pictures are hilarious to us. She opened up this little Tinkerbell, then explained it nice and close and then flew her around in the air. Lol LOVE it!

Back from NYC

Yesterday we came home from New York City! We were busy busy the whole time and saw pretty much all that we wanted to see. It was pretty crowded the whole time, which is to be expected, so I wasn't able to take that many pictures but I did get some that I liked. Trying to keep up with 3 kids in the crowds and crowds of people in the city requires lots of attention and picture taking had to be put on the back burner most of the time! Here some of what we were able to see...


Love going to New York city!! Can't wait til we get to go back again :)

Headed to New York City!

We are about to load the car, go pick up the boys and head to NYC for the weekend! I've never seen the city around Christmas time and the kids haven't been at all so we're really excited to go! Tonight we get to see Brian's Dad and he'll be showing us around a little! We'll be back after the weekend with hopefully lots of fun pictures! And you can't have a blog post without a picture so here's one of Grayson holding yummy cake pops that we made last week :)

Story time

Today we received a package from my Mom and in it there was one of those recordable books. My Mom and Kenny recorded themselves reading "Charlie Brown Christmas!" The boys were so excited and wanted to read it right away.



It's just too bad they weren't in the box as well ;)

This week's favorite outfit

A couple weeks ago it was the wings, this week Adelyn's favorite thing to wear is one of the boys' old sweatshirt that we got from Disneyland a couple years ago (seen here! on Grayson, which is a pretty hilarious picture that I can't believe I put on the blog haha) She goes on and on in Addy language about all the characters on it and won't stop til she has it on lol.

Oh, Ernie!

Our Elf on the Shelf has been landing in a lot of fun places around the house. Every.single.morning. the first thing out of the boys mouth is something about Ernie! So fun!

I have heard about him for a couple years now on a few blogs that I follow and this year we decided to have one in our family as well. He comes to your house from Santa, you get to name him and then every night he flys back to the north pole to report on everything he saw. Then the next morning he is in a new spot and the kids have to find him. Here he is our first morning up on a shelf with binoculars spying on the kids...


I can't wait to see what crazy things Ernie does this holiday season :)

Butterfly Wings

I bought these wings for Addy a while back to start adding girl play costumes to our collection. I've put them on her a few times for fun but this last week she has been asking, she either brings them to me or points and she "eh, eh", for us to put them on her all the time! I love it!! While I was blowing drying my hair this morning she came into the bathroom with them on and wanted me to read this book to her. Such a funny little girl :)

Syracuse Christmas tree lighting

Tonight we went to the Syracuse Christmas tree lighting. I'd like to say it was all fun but that's not the case, Adelyn was fussing the whole time since it was after her bedtime and the boys were wondering why we had to listen to 297 songs before they would light the darn tree. But once it was lit they were all excited to see it and then we had to fight traffic, well traffic for Syracuse, to get home. I'm glad we went though, I love Christmas time and huge Christmas trees :)

Veterans Parade

We went to a Veterans Parade a couple weeks ago and I forgot to post the pictures. I didn't get many because my camera battery died but I did get these pictures of the boys. They're so sweet!
