Our Map :)

I saw this done a couple years ago on younghouselove.com and I've seen it done other places as well. I always wanted to do it for us to have a fun little display of all the places we've been too, lived, etc. I finally made it today!

At the moment it's even color coded! Red pins for the places we've lived, green pins for the places we've visited as a family and blue for Brian and I.

Hopefully we'll be able to add lots of more pins during our time here in Syracuse :)

Ithaca, NY

Since Brian hasn't started school yet we've been trying to keep busy and check out some of the local things here in NY. Earlier this week we decided to drive down to Ithaca and spend the day. Ithaca is home to Cornell university and also many gorges and waterfalls. These waterfalls that we saw were right in the city. In my head I pictured us hiking into the woods to see all of this but it was actually right next to houses and building, it was so cool!

NY here we come

So after a week in Texas we started the trip to Syracuse. Along the way we stopped in Nashville to see my cousin Diane and her family. It was so fun to see all the kids playing together!

Then that night we stayed in Louisville and their triple A baseball team happened to be playing just a block from our hotel so we caught one of their games. We always love going to baseball games when we get the chance!

And here are just a few photos from our first weeks here in Syracuse...

We were at the park and Quinn actually ASKED to take a picture with me so we had to do a self portrait shot real quick :) It's by no means perfect but it's pretty special to me since half the time the kids never even want to be in pictures!

Be prepared for lots of pictures, I just couldn't help myself. :)

I know there's alot, the mommy goggles are on and I think they are all flipping adorable!

A few more from Texas

My mom sent me a couple pictures from her camera that I wanted to share too!

Texas

We had a great time in Texas seeing so much of our family! We stayed at my Mom's house most of the trip and spent pretty much everyday in the pool. The boys LOVED it! Addy not so much :) I don't have much proof of the amount of people that we saw while there. It's hard to find a balance between enjoying vacation without a camera in my hand all the time and documenting the trip!
