46 weeks

You read that right folks, 46 weeks.... I'm ashamed to admit that I missed 5 WEEKS of Adelyn's weekly pictures :( Somehow it just happened and I kept missing more and more weeks.


In this picture she's saying "Hi"! The one word she says, other than Mama and Dada that we hear every now and then :)

The day the movers came was a very sad day. Brian and I have lived in Cali since we first got married. I lived there 6 1/2 years, in 4 different houses, through 3 pregnancies, 3 deployments, 3 homecomings and so many other memories in between!! I have been saying the past couple years that I was excited to move somewhere else if the opportunity arrived but when it was time to move and to SYRACUSE for that matter, I was so sad to leave. Mainly for the friends that we've made, for me and the kids. They still talk pretty much daily about their friends. But hopefully sometime during the next 12+ years while Brian's a Marine we'll be stationed together again!!

The first night we spent the night in Tuscon. And the next morning we took the kids to their Children's Museum....











Then after a night in El Paso, we made our way to Lubbock, Texas! Home of the Red Raiders and where I went to college. I was so excited to be back in Lubbock, even if just for a night to see how the town has changed and to walk around the campus again.





Next it was time to make our way to Carrollton :)

FINALLY!!

Finally, after what seems like months!!, we have a computer with internet again. We are now residents of Syracuse, NY. We had a great time traveling across the country and seeing many different places but most of all we enjoyed seeing family! Brian hadn't been in Texas in a year and a half so it was very nice to be there as a family. The house we're renting here isn't quiteeee what I was hoping it'd be, but we're getting more and more used to it everyday. Of course now we're having a HUGE heat wave with temperatures in the upper 90's and not having A/C is pretty down right miserable. But really, we'll be moving here in either 10 or 11 months so I'm sure we'll survive :) I have tons and tons of pictures to post (though I unfortunately missed a few of Addy's weekly pictures which makes me sad!) so I'll start with Grayson and Quinn's preschool graduation!








Quinn's was a little more "official" since he's graduating to kindergarten but they were both very cute ceremony's. I can't believe Quinn will be starting kindergarten in the fall!!!

Guess how much I love you...

Yesterday I took some pictures of Addy in our room one more time before we have to paint the wall (we took the lazy way out and only painted one wall in our room!) back. She's grown quite a bit since the last time I took pictures of her on our bed.... see here!


I feel so lucky to have this sweet baby girl in our lives! She is such a happy addition to our family and I just love seeing her learn more and more everyday.

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is important holiday to everyone, but especially military families. It's a day to be grateful for those that gave their life so that we can enjoy everything that we have here in our life. I am so thankful that Brian is home here with us and that we were able to enjoy the day with friends. We're excited for Brian to get to attend school in Syracuse and live in a different part of the country but also very sad to be leaving behind all the dear friends that we have here in Cali. Hopefully we will end up being stationed together again sometime :)
